Leadership and Life Skills Development Workshop for JHS Graduates
A five day residential workshop targeted at Junior High School (JHS) graduates to orient them on coping with life at the Senior High School. The programme content is handled by seasoned facilitators. Presentations on topics such as building effective leadership skills; life in SHS a chaplain’s perspective, challenges of adolescents and coping skills; life skills for the adolescents; drug & substance abuse among others.
The Centre collaborates with the Bible Society of Ghana to organize this workshop
Leadership and Life Skills Development Workshop for SHS Graduates
It is a 5-day residential workshop organized for Senior High School (SHS) graduates (final year students) to equip and orient them to balance the knowledge and skills as they prepare for tertiary education. Some treated topics are:
1. Campus Life as a Christian in the Tertiary Level
2. Being Assertive & Building a Positive Self Esteem
3. Knowing Your Identity & Human Relations
4. Identifying Business Opportunities on Campus
5. The Youth and Social Media
6. Sexually Transmitted Diseases among others.
Youth Empowerment Summit: Young People’s Guild
The Presbyterian Women’s Centre (PWC) collaborates with the Ga and Ga West Presbyteries of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) to organize a three-day residential programme for the executives and members of the Presbyterian Youth Guild (YPG).
However, youth from other interdenominational churches participate. This programme seeks to enhance the knowledge of the youth on godly leadership and also build a Christian world of integrity.
